Ras el Hanout
A recipe for how to make Ras el Hanout, a Moroccan spice mix that’s warming and fragrant featuring cinnamon, cumin, ginger, and allspice.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions
Add all ingredients to a bowl and whisk together until well combined.
Store in an airtight jar or container for up to 1 year for best results. Use to season roasted vegetables, chicken, soups and stews, and other Moroccan-inspired recipes.
