Drager Brown

American Brown Ale

The brown ale is a brother to the porter and stouts that originally started in the 1700s. The brown ale fell out of favor with the rise of the pale ales and all but disappeared until the 1980s when Newcastle resurrected the style with their "Northern Brown" style which tends on the drier side with a nutty quality. Our current brown ale is a moderately-hopped brew in the tradition of the "Southern" or "London Brown" that offers mild bitterness and a slightly sweet flavor due to the late addition of Orange Blossom honey.

Blonde Bomber

Blonde Ale

One of the most approachable styles, a golden or blonde ale is an easy-drinking beer that is visually appealing and has no particularly dominating malt or hop characteristics. Rounded and smooth, it is an American classic known for its simplicity. Sometimes referred to as “golden ale.” This particular blonde ale has a slightly floral note due to the addition of Cascade hops and has a slightly sweet aftertaste.
